New green scheme begins
WELLESBOURNE people learnt more about eco-friendly housing projects taking place in their village at a recent event.
Orbit Heart of England is carrying out a ‘retrofit’ on two 1950s homes in Elliot Drive as part of its research on refurbishing older properties in environmentally sound ways.
Staff held a roadshow in the village for people to learn more about the scheme, which is due to be complete in December. To find out more about Orbit’s sustainability committments, go online.
