Young teenage robbers punched a 14-year-old boy in the head during an attack in Kenilworth.

Police said that the boy was walking towards the bushes at The Common around 6pm on Saturday afternoon (July 17) when he was attacked.

After being threatened, the victim handed over a silver iPhone X, a black Tommy Hilfiger wallet containing a quantity of cash and a small grey bag with a KWD logo on it.

Officers said that his injuries were not serious but was left shaken by the incident.

A police spokesperson said: "The offenders are described as white males around 14 years old and approximately 5ft 4in tall.

"Enquiries are currently ongoing and we’re keen to speak to anyone who was in the area, who saw the incident or has further information.
