Two people have been arrested after police spotted a suspected drug deal in Leamington.

Warwickshire police said two people were arrested and heroin was seized after plain clothed officers from Leamington Proactive CID spotted a suspected drug deal in Church Street, on Friday afternoon (October 9).

A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of possession of heroin with intent to supply and a 53-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of heroin.

Both have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
