A teenager was arrested last week on suspicion of using counterfeit money in Leamington.
Warwickshire Police said that they arrested a 16-year-old boy from Milton Keynes after officers received reports of a man spending or attempting to spend counterfeit currency in several shops in Leamington town centre on Friday afternoon.
He was arrested on suspicion of using counterfeit currency.
Police said that the teenager has now been released under investigation
