Drugs and a knife seized after report of men fighting in Rugby town centre

Two arrests were made as officers responded to a report of two men fighting in Albert Street, Rugby on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 8.

The arresting officers seized a knife and what they believe to be class A drugs.

A 40-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of a knife.

A 29-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of class A drugs.

As of July 9 both remain in custody.
