Banned driver gets their comeuppance after a tip off in Lutterworth

A banned driver got their comeuppance after eagle-eyed members of the public tipped off police in Lutterworth.

Officers carried out an urgent stop check on the disqualified motorist.

They quickly established that the repeat offender was driving without either a driving licence – which had been revoked – or road insurance.

The culprit has now been handed nine penalty points on top of the nine they’d already piled up on their licence.

Their motor was also seized by police.
