Could this be England’s best bus driver?
LEAMINGTON bus users may recognise the face of Jason Madden, who is in with a chance of being named the best Stagecoach bus driver in the country.
The 43-year-old, who has worked at the company’s Leamington depot for six years, has been chosen as the best driver in Warwickshire, meaning he is now through to the national championship.
He said: “It’s a great opportunity and I hope to put into practice the results I achieved in the Stagecoach Warwickshire round, where I am pleased to have scored highly.”
Leamington deput manager Tony Simmons said: “I am really proud of Jason. He has had an accident-free record for the past five years and now just has to keep that intact in the run-up to the finals.”
