Codemasters at Southam

CHILDREN at Southam Primary School got close to the experience of sitting behind the wheel of a Formula One car last week - and then got an inisght into how the simulator is developed.

Staff from games programmer Codemasters used a driving seat, steering wheel and pedals and giant monitor to demonstrate their game F1 to pupils at the St James Road school, as well as speaking to pupils about how they develop games.

Children then went on to use computer software to design their own track for racing and wrote descriptions of what it’s like to be a Formula One driver for their ‘around the world’ topic.
