Chris White holds Warwick and Leamington seat for Conservatives

Chris White kept his Warwick and Leamington Parliamentary seat today (Friday) with an increased majority.

Mr White beat Labour’s Lynnette Kelly into second place by a majority of 6,606 votes - almost double that of 2010 - and increased his share of the vote by 5.4%.

The full result was:

Chris White (Conservative): 24,249

Lynnette Kelly (Lab): 17,643

Alastair MacBrayne (UKIP): 4183

Haseeb Arif (Liberal Democrat): 2,512

Azzees Minott (Green): 1,994

The Leamington and Warwick constituency was in the last two in the UK to declare following delays in the count at Stoneleigh.
