Celebrate British apples at Wellesbourne restoration site
Visitors to Chedham’s Yard in Wellesbourne next Saturday (October 12) will be able to watch an apple press at work, learn about over 1,000 British varieties of the fruit and buy some unusual ones to take home.
The restored 19th century wheelright and blacksmith’s is also hosting apple games throughout the day.
Tickets cost £3.50, £3 concessions and free for under-16s, who must be accompanied by an adult.
