Caring Barford pupils think in their feet to raise money for cancer charity

Caring pupils at St Peter’s CE School in Barford helped raise £1,585 for Cancer Research UK. Gracie Leggett and Amelia Edwards, aged 11, Evie Griffin, 10, and Penny Hawkins, aged nine, took part in a sponsored stand-up, where they stood for 12 hours, albeit with breaks.

The school’s ethos is to help others and head Annette Delaney said: “They are really good role models for the rest of the children.” A cheque was handed over at the charity’s shop in Leamington.
