Car on fire on A46 near Kenilworth
FIREFIGHTERS called for back-up after a car caught fire on the A46 near Kenilworth yesterday (Sunday August 19).
Police and fire services were called to the blaze near the junction with the A452 shortly before 5pm after a black Renault Megane had caught fire.
One fire engine from Kenilworth was initially sent to the scene, but called in a further crew from Leamington. Firefighters used hose reels and breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze.
