Campaigners from across Warwick District will join the crowds to demonstrate in Old Palace Yard from midday before heading into Parliament to meet with MPs ahead of the afternoon debate.

It is expected that at least 30 Conservative MPs will rebel against the vote over the first stage of the London to Birmingham rail route.

But this number will not be enough to defeat the bill on its progression through Parliament.
