Bands line up to perform in memory of Jane and Ross

LEAMINGTON bands will perform at a charity event at the Irish Club in Adelaide Road on Friday July 22 in memory of community worker Jane Dobie and musician Ross McGarry.

Ross McGarry, who died in 2008 of pancreatic cancer, played in bands Wish, Stars and Sci-Fi Lullabies. Jane Dobie, who died last year of breast cancer aged 32, worked at the Gap, Bath Place Community Venture and the Community Arts Workshop.

Kristy Gallagher, Satsangi, Reykjavik and Dr Trippy will play from 7.30pm. Tickets cost £5.
