Drake Howard Property Ltd has been formed by Martyn Howard, a well-known chartered surveyor with more than 30 years’ experience handling instructions ranging from: acquisitions to disposals; refurbishment to development; lease structuring to service charge construction; rent income management to expenditure budgeting and control.

He said: “There are many tasks we become involved in as the mechanics of property ownership and occupation produces an infinite number of challenges.

“Our specialism is commercial property management where an in depth knowledge of property law, finance, valuation, construction and book-keeping is fundamental to maximising income returns for investors and building efficiencies for business occupiers.

“Property managers are not at the glamour end of the commercial property market and do not tend to record the trophy deals which hit the headlines.

“The victories we achieve are none the less important to our clients and over time can be more productive and valuable.

“Our aim is to apply our experience to produce a return or outcome which is several fold more valuable than the cost of our service.

“It is an over-used cliche in football that managers stand or fall in a results driven game. The same is true for commercial property managers.
