Two Kenilworth School pupils are part of an amazing family effort to help provide protective visors for NHS and other front line workers.

Year 7 and year 9 pupils Grace and Leo Dugal have been supporting their engineering step-dad Ray Grilli, who works for JLR, and his wider family based in London, who have set up their own production line from their home in the capital.

For the last week the family have been working day and night, fundraising, designing, 3D printing and injection printing personal protective equipment (PPE) face shields for NHS and other front line staff.

Grace and Leo have been helping with 3D printing and helping with preparing face shield deliveries for local hospitals and GP surgeries.

The family based in Kenilworth are know reaching out to local residents to help support and to contact front line workers who may need PPE.

They said: "For just 70p one NHS, or front line worker, can receive this critical PPE.

"So far the donations have raised enough to donate 25,000 face shields across the country.

"UHCW Coventry and Warwickshire GP Trust have already received donated PPE, but more is needed.

The familty added: "This is a difficult time for all and we wish we would do more.

The family's amazing efforts have been picked up by the national media, which Channel 4 news recording an interview with the family from their production line at home.
