Expanding firm moves to heart of the town

Leamington’s Dormer Place has been selected as a prime location for an esteemed architects practice to expand into the town.

The move comes following growing demand for a Leamington-based office after an increase in clientele.

Award-winning company Rickett Architect, have been based in Everdon, Northamptonshire, since their formation in 1972. However, managing director Dan Rickett has lived in Leamington since 1998, and has been looking to open in the town.

Mr Rickett said: “The practicalities of my 40 minute drive each way every day have played a significant part in the decision to open a new office here, and our new Leamington base will complement the growing demand for our expanding client base in the West Midlands.”

Some staff will remain at the company’s rural office complex on Mr Rickett’s family farm in Everdon, presenting the prospect of new employment opportunities in Leamington.

The open-plan offices on the first floor of 13 Dormer Place are part of a Grade II listed Georgian terrace, which overlooks the Royal Pump Rooms and gardens, providing a well-located and attractive location for meetings with clients, and a pleasant working environment for the Rickett team.
