Halloween Disco to raise money for the Myton Hospice, Southam Sports and Social Club, School Street, Southam, from 8am, free entry.

Beetlejuice, an informal talk on our perceptions of insects and some of the issues involved with how an overcrowded planet deals with feeding itself in the future with collections assistant Laura McCoy, stay and handle live insects or just explore the museum followed by a complimentary screening of Beetlejuice. The 27th annual Round Table bonfire night held at Kenilworth Castle will start at 5.30pm, and the bonfire will be lit around 45 minutes later and fireworks from 7pm.

Balsall Common Lions club and Berkswell and Balsall Common sports association will host a charity bonfire and fireworks display on Lant Playing Field. Gates open at 6pm. The Printed Word: Newspapers & Books for Family History, Warwickshire County Record Office. This workshop explores the uses of newspapers & book to widen your knowledge of your ancestors. It will show how to find newspapers in libraries, record offices & on-line, from 9.15 am to 12.15pm, £12 per person.

A Country Market will take place at the Dorothea Mitchell Hall, Claverdon. Open from 9.30am-2.30pm and admission is free. The event has been org anised by Claverdon Gardening Group.
