Whisky fest in Stratford

WHISKIES in more than 150 varieties will be celebrated at a festival dedicated to the spirit in Stratford this month.

Making its second visit to the town, the Whisky Lounge, featuring more than 20 whisky companies and around 40 distilleries, returns to the Shakespeare Centre in Henley Street on Saturday May 19 from noon.

People can taste a variety of drams and learn how to know their single malts from their blends, with highlights including industry professional-led workshops and the newest malts on the market.
