Talisman Theatre, Kenilworth, 7.30pm: Jumpers For Goalposts, a football-themed comedy with a distinctly adult flavour at the Talisman Theatre. Visitors are warned that the writer’s themes are adult and may offend, but are being reassured that they are handled with great humour and a fine ear for contemporary dialogue. Market Hall Museum, Market Square, Warwick, 10am to 2pm: Join family friendly activities and talks. Meet its Baby Warwickshire Ichthyosaur at 10am, when visitors can see and learn about this fascinating creature. At 11am, there’s a chance to view shoes from the museum’s collection – everything from early examples of shoes and how they were made to a pair of 1970s platforms. Learn ‘How to Keep Warm Animal Style’ at 12noon and explore how different species have adapted to keep warm. Learn about the Art of the Prehistoric Metalsmith at 1pm, when visitors can view some examples from the museum’s collections. And from 10am to 2pm. get crafty with make-and-take activities downstairs at the museum. Free admission. No need to book – just drop in.

Berkswell Windmill in Windmill Lane, Balsall Common will be open from 12 noon to 4pm. There is an entrance fee of £3.50 for adults, £3 for concessions, £1 for under-16s and £8 for a family ticket. The Coventry Weavers and Spinners are attending to give a demonstration of their ancient craft, and Bill Pullen the folk singer will be sure to get feet tapping. Various stalls will be selling a variety of wares and produce.

Warwickshire Exhibition Centre, Fosse Way: International N Gauge Show. N Gauge is a popular model railway scale that can be enjoyed by all - some of the model locomotives on show are nearly as small as your thumb. Visitors will see and enjoy a wide variety of N Gauge layouts. The exhibition features nearly 30 layouts this year, plus five society stands. Marton Museum of Country Bygones, which provides a unique local insight into the past, will be open 10.30am to 5pm. Admission will be free. Refreshments will be available in the Cricket Pavilion and there will be some vintage tractors on site. The museum contains a collection of a large number of exhibits dating from the 17th century onwards all collected locally by one man, George Tims, throughout his lifetime. Join Leamington Studio Artists and BID Leamington from 1pm to 3pm at Leamington Spa Art Gallery & Museum for the official unveiling of their first community painting by Andy Farr and David Curtlin , which will be sited in the foyer entrance.
