Watch The Trial in Leamington

MORE than 40 years after it was first performed on stage, the Blackeyed Theatre Company are bringing The Trial to the Spa Centre, Leamington.

Based on Kafka’s nightmare vision of anonymous government forces, the story was brilliantly adapted for the theatre by British actor Steven Berkoff.

Next Saturday (March 31) you can see members of the Blackeyed cast giving one of their trademark ensemble-style performances - highly physical and against a backdrop of live music.

The plot revolves around an estranged and rootless man who has become the victim of forces beyond his control.

As he is relentlessly hunted down for a crime that remains un-named, we follow his arrest and the shocking, thrilling and sometimes funny episodes that occur as he awaits trial.

The play starts at 7.45pm and tickets cost £12 or £11 online. For more information visit www.royalspacentreandtownhall.co.uk or call 737154.
