Gothic comedy thriller at the Priory in Kenilworth

Audiences can join the eccentric Tomb family in a gothic comedy thriller by Norman Robbins at the Priory Theatre in Kenilworth this week.

A Tomb With A View opens with the family’s solicitor Hamilton Penworthy reading the will of the late-departed Septimus Tomb. The news that most of the money is going to a mystery woman, Miss Ash, incenses the family. Then, soon after romantic fiction writer Freda Ash and her secretary Peregrine arrive, the corpses start to pile up.

Who will survive? The Priory team, who advise that the play is not suitable for under-tens, are promising a plot with “laughs and dead bodies in profusion” that twists and turns.

Performances take place at the theatre in Rosemary Hill from Wednesday (May 7) until Saturday May 17 at 7.30pm each evening. For tickets, call 863334.
