Tacit Theatre’s immersive production puts the audience at the heart of Geoffrey Chaucer’s classic masterpiece.

At turns enchanting, scandalous and disgusting, the tales unfold in a mixture of story and song as the multi-talented ensemble cast of rogues and wenches tell stories to entertain each other on their pilgrimage.
From the antics of adulterous lovers to the revenge of cuckolded husbands, the characters remain as engaging and recognisable today as they were in the 14th century.
