Renaissance masters come to Leamington

See the world’s most famous Renaissance artworks come together on the big screen in Leamington for the first time in history.

The Vatican Museums 3D will come to the Vue cinema for one night only on Tuesday to give new insight into how Da Vinci, Raphael, Caravaggio and Giotto decorated the Sistine Chapel and museum.

The film will be shown in 3Dand 2D in cinemas across the UK and take art lovers on a journey through the immense collection built up by the Roman Catholic Church through the centuries.

The film was made possible thanks to permission to film inside the Vatican City and chapel for the first time.

Viewers will be given insight into the works as well as telling the stories behind the masters.

Director, Professor Antonio Paolucci guides the audience on an unforgettable tour among the world’s most renowned classical sculptures and most important Renaissance masterpieces.

The film gives the viewer unparalleled access to one of the most visited museums in the world and arguably the greatest art collection in history.
