The album, released around the time Kanute were named the BBC Coventry and Warwickshire Introducing show’s ‘band of the month’ for April sees the return of the collaboration between Rachael and producer Rob Overseer, whose impressive resume incudes work on film soundtracks such as Blade Trinity and Snatch and remixes for the Kaiser Chiefs and Adam F.

The duo spent two-and-a-half years on the album, with Overseer living in St Agnes and both with young families it was a long and complicated process.

Rachael said: “There’s a lot of my family in Ursa Minor, especially my daughter.”

Ursa Minor is available to buy from bandcamp.com and for download on iTunes.
