Combining electronica, rock, indie and emotional singing, the band have just released their new EP, Brighter and are playing at the Zephyr Lounge as part of a jam-packed UK tour.

Getting more and more used the spotlight, the Bristol boys - Ed, Steve Bird (vocals), Sam James (guitar), Wayne Jones (bass) and Dave Betts (keyboards and guitar) - are finding that they cannot get enough of playing live and are enjoying developing their sound.

Ed told the Courier: “The new EP has gone down really well but it does contrast to what we have done before. Our sound is always developing.

“We started out on guitars then brought in electrics later on. On every track we are experimenting with how we use electronics and productions. We hope people like what we’re doing.”

But Ed admits that it is hard work to get themselves known. He said: “The people who come to watch us have heard us on the radio or online or a friend has recommended us - and it’s really nice to know people are sharing what they’ve heard and liked.

“Next year we’d like to do a lot more festivals. It’s the dream of every band to be on stage non-stop.”
