With the club’s first night of the season taking place at the Warwick Arms Hotel on Monday, highlights will include comedian-singers Grant Baynham and Hilary Spencer - together known as Quicksilver - and the ever-popular Les Barker, whose surreal poems went down a storm recently at Warwick Folk Festival.

The Harvesters - Ian and Sue Hartland and Bob Powell - will bring Americana to the club, while more traditional folk sounds will come from Pete Grassby and the Carrivick Sisters. In November there will be a charity night, when performers will be helping to raise money for Cancer Research, and rock and roll songs from the 1940s to the 1960s, performed by local favourites Chris Tobin and Dave Cook, aim to get the audience dancing in their seats.
