The artists are showcasing their work at the gallyer in Regent Court as part of the 14th Warwickshire Open Studios from June 14 to July 13.

Participating artists include Elizabeth Townsend and Veronika Pock, whose artwork is pictured. Gallery manager Kate Livingston said: “This is very exciting for the gallery - something completely new. It’s also a great way for people to meet the artists and see them at work.”

Meanwhile, the gallery continues to exhibit donated work by artist and illustrator Terry Dutton and members of the Streets Ahead Photography Club to help raise funds for the Rufus’ Friends’ Fund (RFF) and the Leamington-based Way Ahead Support Services.

RFF was founded in 1989 in memory of Rufus Hedderwick, who had had severe learning difficulties and died that year. The fund provides short breaks and holidays for families across Warwickshire who care for someone with learning difficulties and are unable to fund their own holidays.

Way Ahead Support Services provides support and activities for people with learning disabilities - and its Streets Ahead projects aim to teach them skills such as cooking, budgeting, crafts and photography to help promote independence and creativity. Its photography club is led by professional photographer Andrew Turnbull, who said: “It’s a joy to see the diversity of each individual’s photographic style and a real privilege to witness them develop individually and as a group.”

Profits from the exhibition, on until June 22, will go to both causes. To find out more, visit www.gallery150.co.uk
