Create fascinating new art at Kenilworth studio

TILES, cloth and recycled objects are just some of the different materials used to create unique mosaic images by a Burton Green artist.

And, at her studio in Kenilworth, Helen Clues is now sharing her talents by offering workshops for adults and children.

She said: “I have also have started offering a range of creative experiences for children’s parties with a difference, using clay sculpture, mosaic, painting and jewellery.

“Mosaic is great fun and everybody gets to add their own little bit.

“I work with tiles, cloth and recycled material - all sorts of things, depending on what it is I am making.

“Children are fascinated because they have never worked with such an array of beautiful, shiny materials before.”

Having recently completed a project at St John’s School in Kenilworth, which features 22 wooden mosaic panels, Helen has now begun discussions with Burton Green residents’ association about creating an outdoor art exhibition along the Greenway to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee next year.
