Best of Burton Green event this weekend
A Warwickshire village is showcasing the artistic talents of its residents on Saturday and Sunday of this weekend.
The Made in Burton Green community arts project in association with Warwickshire Open Studios will incorporate an exhibition, a scarecrow competition and yarn-bombing all along the route of a circular walk around the village.
The exhibition at the village hall will feature photography, painting, ceramics, jewellery and textiles with craft demonstrations and opportunities to purchase works and to talk to the artists.

Hide AdRefreshments and home-baked cakes will be available, as well as a licenced bar.
Opening times are 2pm to 6pm on Saturday and 10am to 5pm on Sunday.
Scarecrow competition entries can be brought to the village hall on Saturday from 9am to 11am for registration with the winner announced at 4.30pm on Sunday.
