Best of British looks to Blitz spirit
The nostalgic concert will play between Remembrance Sunday and the anniversary of the German air raid that devastated Coventry in 1940.
Spirit of the Blitz recaptures the patriotic optimism of war-torn Britain and celebrates the hard-working entertainers who boosted the nation’s morale.

Hide AdWith music favourites from the ’40s and a packed nostalgic afternoon of laughter, the stage show looks to pay tribute to the legendary stars who kept the city smiling through dark days after devastation hit.
As well as sing-along hits such as ‘Don’t Sit Under the Apple Tree’ and ‘We’ll Meet Again’, the theatre will welcome stars, Andy Eastwood, Lucia Matisse and Pete Lindup to deliver a show stopping musical performance.
For those who remember the war years, the afternoon will be a trip down memory lane. And for those who don’t it will provide a sentimental journey through the melodies and comedy which accompanied the nation’s ‘finest hour’.
The concert will play on November 13 from 1.30pm.
Tickets are £12.50 from the box office on 02476553055.
