Myton schoolgirls Lauryn Farmer and Alice Waterfield have returned from a life-changing trip to the battlefields of the Somme and Ypres Salient.
The Warwick teenagers won places on the four-day visit after their essays on why Warwickshire should remember the First World War won them places in a national competition run by Equity Travel.
While there the girls were also invited to take part in a ceremony at the Menin Gate.
