Classic films and delicious food promise to get Warwick town centre rocking on the forthcoming bank holiday weekend.
Activities will get underway from 6.30pm on Saturday, August 29, when the bars and streetfood will begin serving ahead of the outdoor screening of Back to the Future at 7.30pm.
The action on the Sunday gets underway at midday with the build up to a screening of the Pixar family favourite Toy Story, which will be followed at 3pm by Steven Spielberg’s dinosaur adventure Jurassic Park.
The festival will end with a screening of the first Indiana Jones film, Raiders of the Lost Ark, from 6pm.
Organisers are advising visitors to take a chair or picnic blanket, as well as warm clothing.
The Warwick Rocks Food and Film Festival also has an array of delights from some of the nation’s top streetfood providers, in addition to the Pimms Bar, Little Gin Company and Big Red Bus Bar!
A spokesperson for organisers Warwick Rocks said: “This event and all the others we are putting on in Warwick this year is down to the amazing businesses and people of the town. Thanks to the support of individuals and businesses we smashed through our £10,000 crowd funder target in April, raising £10,060.”
