Naomi Folkard has been named as one of the two archers who will represent Team GB at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
It will be a fourth Olympic Games appearance for Folkard who made her Games debut at Athens 2004 before competing at both Beijing 2008 and London 2012.
Folkard will compete in the individual recurve event in Rio after earning a quota spot for finishing second at the World Cup in Antalya, Turkey.
Patrick Huston, 20, will compete in the men’s event.
Team GB’s chef de mission Mark England said: “Naomi has a wealth of experience having competed at three previous Olympic Games and I am sure she can use this to her advantage this summer.”
Folkard said: “It’s really exciting to have won a spot for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, it makes the tough journey over the last four years worthwhile. I now have a few weeks to do my final preparation, so I can go with the confidence to perform to the best of my ability.
“This will be my fourth Games and competing in the Sambódromo arena will be a similar experience to my first Games in the Panathenaic Stadium in Athens. I’m looking forward to fighting for a medal.”
