Mobile phone accessories, coasters, candles and clothing are among the variety of innovative products brought to the market by young people going on display at the Young Enterprise Trade Fair taking place at the Royal Priors in Leamington today (Saturday) from 9am to 3pm.
More than 100 15 to 17-year-olds from schools across central Warwickshire are taking part and competing for the trophy of Company of the Year, as judged by local business owners.
The pupils taking part set up their companies in September and since then have brainstormed products ideas, conducted market research, scrutinised potential suppliers and raised enough capital to bring their ideas to market.
As well as offering their products for sale, they will also be grilled by the judges, who will decide which business has the best stall and the most innovative product.
