Police and council officers have issued notices to move on an unauthorised Gypsy and traveller site which set up in Newbold Comyn this week.
After complaints from businesses and users of the extensive park began making complaints to police after groups of travellers arrived and parked up on land near to the Newbold Comyn Arms and leisure centre.
On Thursday morning, officers from Warwick District Council said all travellers found at the site were being issued with notices to be off the land within 24 hours.
The council can take legal action if the notices to move on are ignored after the given 24 hours.
She said: “Our officers are working with Warwickshire Police to deal with this unauthorised gypsy and traveller camp.
“Notices have been served and if these have not been followed up within the 24 hours given, that is when we will begin to look at taking legal action.”
