Fire crews rushed out to Warwick after reports that Castle Balti was alight in the early hours of Thursday morning.
A total of six engines arrived at St John’s after the fire broke out in the kitchen of the restaurant and take-away.
Is is believed that most of the kitchen extension at the back of the building was damaged, as well as smoke damage reaching the restaurant.
Warwickshire Fire Service was called out at 3.30am and sent out two teams from Leamington, with more sent over a three hour operation.
Nobody is thought to have been hurt in the incident.
