Top marks have been awarded to The Kingsley School in Leamington in an inspection report just published. The independent day school for girls is “excellent” according to the Independent Schools Inspectorate. All areas of the school - from prep to sixth form - are praised in the report and the attainment of pupils of all ages is said to be above the national average.
The inspectors awarded Kingsley the top rating of excellent for eight out of nine categories they looked at - ranging from the quality of academic and other achievement to the effectiveness of leadership and the arrangements for pastoral care, welfare, health and safety.
Head teacher Heather Owens is delighted with the contents of the inspection report. She said: “I am thrilled, but not surprised, that the inspectors recognised the many improvements in the school over the last few years. I am especially pleased that they felt the strong sense of community and pride about Kingsley’s distinctive approach to all aspects of education.”
