Take up cycling for a good cause when England’s biggest women’s sporting event returns to Warwickshire for a second time this autumn.

Breeze Challenge Events will once again hit the roads in the district when the second event comes to the district on Sunday, September 20.

With a 50km or 100km route, the rides will take cyclists from the University of Warwick through Kenilworth, Hatton and back near to Henley-in-Arden and Knowle.

Organisers are now calling on keen groups and individuals to sign up and get involved in what they said should be a “fantastic day” to celebrate all things in women’s cycling.

The event is organised in partnership with Cancer research UK, with riders encouraged to pull in sponsorship for the day.

A statement read: “British Cycling’s Breeze is the biggest programme to get more women into riding bikes for fun.

“Our aim is to help thousands of women feel confident about going on a bike ride, and have lots of fun along the way.

“Join the celebration and enjoy an unforgettable opportunity to take cycling further.”
