Rev. Adam Tams said: "The event was organised as we’ve been unable to gather as a wider church family since lockdown began.

"As a larger church in the area, we can only fit around 15-20 per cent of our church family in the building at any one time and so needed to be creative.

Kenilworth Drive-In Cinema were really generous in letting us use their space and equipment and we managed to hold event with over 350 in attendance, in around 140 cars.

"We also had a lot of fun, with a short bible quiz and a treasure hunt inside our cars.

"The church building may have been closed, but the church has very much been open throughout lockdown - we’ve continued to serve our community, to pray, and of course continued to meet - but online.

"That said, meeting online is never going to take the place of worshiping together - and we were so blessed by the weather, and those who helped make it happen."
