The club, which was 100 years old in 2020, is delighted be able to offer all-year-round tennis for residents.

The club enters teams in both the Stratford and Evesham league and Coventry and Warwickshire league.

Although Claverdon has had some excellent results in league matches, players find themselves competing against many younger players.

The plans involve installing state of the Art LED lights which minimise light spillage and create very little disturbance to the surrounding area.

The club has said that members are "incredibly excited to be part of something which will ensure the longevity of one of Claverdon’s oldest sporting clubs".
