Drivers urged to take care on Warwickshire roads after crash

Drivers are being urged to take car when out on the roads in Warwickshire after a crash.

Heavy rain overnight has seen a lot of water collect on the roads this morning (Tuesday).

The Operational Patrol Unit of Warwickshire Police (OPU Warwickshire) is urging motorists to drive to the conditions on the roads after they attended an incident on the A46.

They said: "The county has suffered heavy rainfall over night and this morning.

"Please slow down and drive to the conditions.

"This driver of this Jaguar hit standing water on the A46 Northbound near Stoneleigh and collided with the barrier.

"The driver escaped without injury and we arranged recovery of the vehicle."
