Leamington’s town centre will be hit by traffic disruption when two main streets are closed off to cars for almost a month.
Warwick Street and Warwick Place will be closed daily to vehicles from January 25 while major resurfacing work is carried out.
The work has an expected competition date of February 19 and during this time, both streets will be closed off to traffic between the hours of 9am and 4pm.
Temporary traffic lights will be put in place at the Dale Street and Clarendon Place junction to manage vehicles travelling in the area.
All side roads adjoining Warwick Place and Warwick Street will be fully closed for exit and entry and all on street parking on Warwick Street, Warwick Place, Dale Street and Clarendon Place will be suspended.
Residents are asked to remove vehicles during working hours on these days.
Businesses have been assured that deliveries will be maintained where possible during the works, with potential changes being needed to suit the work.
Pedestrian access will remain in place on all streets.
