Volunteers are celebrating 30 years of friendship and good work as they celebrate a milestone anniversary for The Friendship Project.
The charitable group lends a helping hand to children in need - all through a simple friendship with an older volunteer.
And a family fete has marked three decades of good work and hundred of families helped since the idea was launched in 1986.
Since then, “shining examples” of volunteers have helped around 500 children in need of support at a difficult time such as through disability, bereavement or school problems.
