A woman who suffered a broken collar bone in a traffic collision is appealing for help tracking down the driver of the car who failed to stop.

The incident took place in Shrubland Street on Saturday January 16 at 6.40am.

Beverley Garratt said she was driving her blue Ford C-Max with her husband when they were hit by a Black VW.

She said there were two Asian men in the car, one who got out to apologise for the collision, which caused enough damage to the Ford to make it an insurance write off.

But that he then ran up the road and got back into the VW, which was driven off before any details could be exchanged.

Mrs Garratt, who sustained a broken collar bone in the crash, is appealing for help track down the men, or who might have information to help.

Anyone with details can contact her on 01926 715709.
