Another large cannabis factory has been closed down in Leamington.

Officers said they executed a warrant at a property in Clemens Street this morning (Monday) and arrested a man.

He remains in police custody.

Over the past few weeks, police have discovered many homes that are acting as cannabis factories in Leamington.

A spokesperson from the Leamington Safer Neighbourhood Team, who carried out the operation, said: "A large cannabis grow has been discovered containing well over 200 plants.

"One male has been arrested and he remains in police custody at this time.

"If anyone has any information about drug dealing, using or production in their area please contact us on 101, on our website or anonymously via crimestoppers."
