Midcounties Co-operative staff raised over £1,700 for their charity partner, Myton Hospice after a festive fundraising drive in Warwick.

The campaign saw workers take on a Christmas jumper day, a cake sale and craft fair and a 12 Days of Christmas sporting challenge to boost the kitty.

Staff based in the town held an activity each day in the run up to the big day with 16 taking on the 5km Santa Dash for the hospice.

Jon Darling from the Co-op said: “As it’s the season of goodwill, it’s a great time to raise money for our well-deserving charity partner, Myton Hospice.

“It is important to give back to those who need help during this time of the year and we’re proud to be able to help Myton Hospice make a difference.”
