Child rescued from lift at Leamington Shopping Park

A child had to be rescued from a stuck lift today (Sunday) at Leamington Shopping Park.

Firefighters said the lift was stuck between the ground and first floor level.

They raised the lift to the first floor using small gear to gain access and the child was released.

The emergency service said it got the call at about 3.25pm to the retail park, formerly known as The Shires.
