Seymours recruits three legal experts

The longest-established firm of solicitors in Coventry and Warwickshire continues to grow its team with the recruitment of three more dedicated experts.

From offices in Coventry and Leamington, Seymours delivers a variety of professional services to a wide range of clients, from individuals and Small to Medium Enterprises to one of the top three building societies in the country.

Last year the firm opened an office in Leamington.

As the housing market picks up and employment levels increase Seymours is experiencing a growing demand for advice from families, businesses and home movers.

Tia Khan is returning to work after taking a career break to raise her two children. Before that she worked as a case handler and assistant conveyancer for large, local firms of solicitors. Tia is joining as a conveyancer to consolidate the firm’s residential conveyancing department.

Solicitor Sam Pettit is one of two new employees in the private client department. Sam lives close to the Coventry office and enjoys advising local people on matters including wills, lasting power of attorney and inheritance tax planning. Sam felt that the firm reminded her a lot of the one where she completed her legal training, with the staff being very friendly and approachable.

Jyoti Jagatia has joined as a private client paralegal and has many years experience of working at the Land Registry, Coventry Council and other local firms of solicitors.

Jyoti said: “Seymours is a very well-established law firm and the staff thrive on providing excellent client service. I wanted to be a part of their team, as providing great client care is hugely important to me - especially when working in such a sensitive area of law. I was looking for a new challenge and to develop my skills even further - Seymours will give me this opportunity.”
