Armed robbers have made off with cash and cigarettes in the second Kenilworth supermarket raid this month.
A group of three men armed with “bladed weapons” stormed the Tesco Express store in Leyes Lane on Thursday evening.
The men, all believed to be white, were wearing balaklavas and hooded tops when they entered the convenience store at around 9.30pm on January 8.
They left with a “significant amount of cash and cigarettes” and fled the scene in a turquoise Mini.
A police spokesperson said that investigations are ongoing but it is understood that nobody was hurt in the incident.
Any witnesses are asked to contact officers on 101 quoting incident reference 331 of the 8th January.
